Description Timo Sintonen 2014-08-31 07:58:06 CEST
Gcc has changed version numbering. The next release will be version 5 instead of 4.10. The version string is now 5.0.0.

The regex string for 4.x has a bug that matches everything.

I'm glad they decided on going with version 5.0

I've assumed you've read:

Yes I have. It looks they are going to have both major and minor releases more often. Maybe they will fork the release branch earlier too. What is not clear for me is how compatible will be minor releases like 5.1 and 5.2 .
